The Kooky Kid Tales: 2/5 - "Chain" Nahi! (Restless)

Cycle Chain

As a kid, we all have been curious about many things around us. We wanted to know everything - right or wrong; we wanted to do everything without giving a second thought! & so did Kooky!

As a curious kid, Kooky used to explore everything around him. From catching ants, mosquitoes and storing them in match boxes to handling hot spoons till hands got burnt, Kooky has tried it all.😝

At age of 3, while playing with some elder kids, Kooky came across a new thing in his world - Bicycle or Cycle.

As curious as Kooky was, he got fascinated with it. He went to the cycle to see it. Walking around in awe, he wanted to see what it was used for. He asked one of the boys to show and they made him sit on that big cycle. Kooky was so excited and happy to find something new and exciting.

Kooky could not resist but be around that cycle. He started to explore the cycle. Playing with the paddles and moving it round n round to see the chain moving. When he started touching the greasy chain, the elder boys took him away from the cycle and warned him that he would get hurt. This happened 2-3 times, but Kooky just wanted to explore. After a while, he sneaked away from the place for a while and made his way to the cycle again. 

This time when Kooky was playing with the cycle chain, Kooky got curious about the design on which the chain ran and tried to put his hand in the small gap between the rods around the chain support. Least did he know that his hand would get stuck there! 😂

Kooky's mother got to know about this incident and panicked.😟 They tried everything to get his hand out but nothing worked. Only solution was to wait for the owner of the cycle to open the lock so as to loosen the gap between the rods and get Kooky's hand out. All this took around 2 hrs and finally Kooky's hand was taken out from that cycle chain support.

Kooky's curiosity has not reduced even after this incident. He still is curious to explore the world. But this incident is a classic example of his curiosity in his list of craziness.ðŸĪŠ
